Just joined plannermix to find out a bit more about what is happening in the events & meetings industry.
I am the owner of http://www.perfecttableplan.com/ seating planner software. Primarily it is aimed at events with assigned table seating for 30 - 3000 guests, e.g. fundraising dinners, gala dinners, award ceremonies and other special events. I would be interested to know if any of you have been involved in planning those sorts of events and whether you used specialist software, Excel, post-it notes or something else.
I also enjoy a good seating planning horror story, if you have one to share...
