Dominican Hotels, Tour operators Did Paris, on Business

Santo Domingo.- To increase visits by tourists the Tourism Ministry (Sectur), 15 Dominican hotel companies and the airline Air France, recently participated in Paris’ French International Travel Market Fair.

UNWTO: Increasing Confidence in 2010 Recovery for the Tourism Sector

Crisis Has Pummeled Dominican North Coast’s Tourism

Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic.- The global crisis felt in the Dominican Republic has been especially hard on the North Coast’s tourism, mainly the Puerto Plata area, famous for its beautiful beaches and the comfort of its hotel facilities, several of which have been forced to close.

Dominican Republic To Take Part In Shanghai’s World Fair

SHANGHAI.- Dominican Republic will have a pavilion in Shanghai 2010 World’s Fair, to be staged with the motto " Better City, Better Life," from May 1 to 31 October next year.
