I’m attempting connect through my networks and trust we will either have a good time hanging out, or create collaborative relationships.

Fluffing my lines when I was singing in a private function for the NSW Premier. After a number of failed attempts to get it right, I threw my hands out and commanded the Premier, The First Lady of State and his guests sit down and enjoy their meal. Later I was invited to return to the private dining room to continue singing, where I was told my nerves were a reflection of how others were feeling, making my performance (or lack of) all the more endearing.

In a couple of my presentations I also sing. For example with the keynote I also sing the Jazz Standard "They Can't Take That Away From Me". I don't take requests from the floor, however pre-arranged requests from the organizers are most welcome.
“Catherine your audience lapped up all the panel ideas and you certainly unraveled the mystery of social media for us. Your Ideas were clear, concise, logical, practical - yet at the same time stretched many of the audience. ...thank you.”
"You are a very polished and impressive emcee. I have seen many events where the act and emcee don't mix, or one is trying to outdo the other. In your case, you are right on track with your courtesies and professional respect."

Catherine,
Nice to hear from you.
I'm spread thin among many adventures...time is short, a lot of work, and as you know it takes 10 times longer to get something out of it.
But, no complaints.
I also start teaching at DePaul University this week, and I look forward to this.
Are you trave;ling much outside Australia?
Cheers,
Ilan
